4 of us went in for dinner and a catch up, had a fab time. The waiter (didn't catch his name) was brilliant with us, made our night. The food was brilliant, reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.
The Mexicano Burger is very tasty with a bit of a kick, washed down with Camden Pale Ale. Chicken burger, Chicken Skewers and Posh Mac Cheese are tasty too! Friendly staff serving well sized portions!
Stopped in for a quick bite and definitely was not disappointed! The server was so friendly and welcoming. She gave us great tips for our trip through Scotland. Shepards pie was fantastic and try the chips with brown sauce!
Loved the place as it was very cosy. The staff were super friendly. The food was even better! The fish and chips was a personal highlight and the portion was big and the coleslaw was great. For dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding which had a texture like it had been steamed. The caramel sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had. The eton mess was also very good with real berries and a great berry sauce. The tea I got was also served with complimentary biscuits!
We had a family Easter Sunday lunch here. Everything was excellent. Good service great food. Very large portions. A nice variety. We will definitely be back.
We stopped local with our aim of trying new places on our doorstep this year. We came on a Sunday night and there wasn’t much of a queue. We were told it would be about a 45 minute wait for food as they had a few big parties in. We were happy with this and we were shown to a seat. We were given a booth and the server was prompt with coming over to take our drinks order. Next came our food order which definitely didn’t take 45 minutes to come, we both got the beet burger which says on the menu that it has roasted beetroot, pastrami and melted cheese. The burger itself was fantastically cooked and tasted brilliant however it did have bacon on it and no pastrami. The fries and sweet potato fries were lovely as well. The toilets were extremely clean, some of the best toilets I’ve ever visited in a restuarant. Overall a fantastic experience which has only been marked down a star due to the missing pastrami and the music being too loud that I couldn’t really have a conversation with my wife (we might have been situated near the speaker however)
We went for Wednesday lunch and drinks. It was a beautiful day, cocktails were marvellous and the food was fabulous. My husband had steak and chicken skewers which he said was amazing and I had the chilli burger which I would say is probably the most tasty burger I've ever had. The service was excellent and we had a lovely afternoon.
Fantastic food bar, child friendly with lots of space so you don't need to be sitting anywhere near anyone, in the afternoons. Food is amazing they have a fab chef, more than generous servings. Staff and great and attentive. I can highly recommend it. The best food bar in Bonnyrigg by far!
